This solid pewter Viking period pendant was found in Fossi, Iceland and dates to the 11th century. It combines the Thor's hammer and the Christian cross in one pendant. Mjolnir was a symbol of destructive power, but it was also a symbol of healing and protection and security from evil and violent forces.
The pewter pendant is attached to the chain by a stainless steel ring and pewter dragon heads. The chain is stainless steel and based on designs from the Viking period.
The chain is approx. 50cm in length, and weighs approx. 100g.
